In the fjords around Orust, at the foot of Bredfjället, what may be the world’s finest mussels are cultivated. That’s where our idea began. Today, with our restaurant, bar, and the opportunity to join our expeditions, our operations stretch from the historic spa environment of Lyckorna to the vast underwater gardens far out in the fjords. We offer culinary experiences and food adventures centered around our most environmentally friendly delicacy — the blue mussel. Simply put.
We prepare mussels in different ways depending on the season and our mood. But some things remain constant. We use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible and strive to work with sustainably farmed and fairly produced products overall. It’s all about giving our exceptional mussels the best possible companions — so that your dining experience is as enjoyable as it can be. Enjoy your meal!
We are happy to source some of our ingredients from small, local producers, which means our selection may vary. Perhaps you are a producer yourself, or know someone with a product that would fit our kitchen?
