Research expedition

Fish survey, refreshments, lunch or dinner

We’ll fish for samples of protected species, such as cod, whiting, saithe and lobster in the waters that are both open and closed for fishing, as directed by the Institute of Marine Research in Lysekil. Join us on an exciting expedition in the name of science. We’ll measure, weigh and mark certain species before putting them back in the water. Learn about the creatures under the surface, and the work that is being done to help them recover. A unique opportunity which after we have carried out our work will finish with dinner at Musselbaren in the historic clocktower at Lyckorna in Ljungskile.
